Internet - What is a Universe, anyhow

So, I was recently approved as a researcher for Google Answers. It's fun work, interesting work, and a chance to put all those research skills and formatting skills developed with my English degree to use. And I get some beer money out of the deal, which doesn't suck any way you look at it.
Most of the topics are interesting to myself and the person asking, and no one else. However... sometimes...
In this particular case, the question was:
Subject: astronomy
Category: Science > Astronomy

Question ID: 92530
where ends the universe
Now, if this had been a $30 or $70 or $200 question, I'd have gotten strong clarification as to exactly what the writer meant. But it wasn't. It was two bucks, which is the minimum. At the same time, this isn't a gig where you can answer facetiously (well, not in the 'paid' column.)
Here is how I dealt with it. Enjoy!
