Figurehead Todd's audioanimatronic corpse had to dance and validate for a bit today. One hopes this was all behind us, but these things aren't clean, typically.
But, while it meant missing out on a training session I really wanted to do, it also meant I had a free afternoon, with the blessings of management. So I did some writing. I finished Chapter 7 of Theftworld, and polished the teaser text for the two parts of the book (the book is outlined to be broken into four six chapter 'books.' Book I, "Legend" is finished, and Book II, "Invasion" has begun). There's a fake religion in the book called McCourtism, and the teasers are passages from The Charter of General McCourt.
The chapter, on the other hand, takes us wholly out of the ship (and the Empire) and actually drops us onto Theftworld for the first time.
Anyway, all three are up on the writing page, as always. Comments desperately begged for.
