Whistling in the Dark

...this is shaping up to be a crapulent day.

The day, inexorably, is getting better. Or at least I'm dealing better with the day. Just for the record.

It was helped, of course, by good people saying nice things, so the folks reading this who know who they are should know... um... who they are.
