Hand in hand with my last post, postulating that there could be a Skype based game of AD&D with some of my old cohorts if they're of a mind, there is the discovery (thanks to a recommendation in the comments of said last post) of Gametable.
Gametable is astoundingly easy to connect to and use. It just plain works. It should work on any computer system (someone might need a Java Run Environment installed, but that's just it). It will handle dice rolling. It will handle making maps in real time just like I had a big ol' vinyl map and a dry erase marker. It will do all that is needed to actually run the game.
And? It is the mastermind of mad scientist Andy Weir.
Is there anything Webcartoonists can't do?
